A definitive work of the solarpunk genre, A Psalm for the Wild-Built turns its back on the bleak hopelessness of dystopian literature by imagining a post-apocalyptic world rebuilt as a functioning, orderly place where humanity can and does thrive and grow, forging new rules for itself to deal with its new existence. Solarpunk is a hopeful, constructive genre, and we're looking for stories, poetry and art with that same vibe.
We're not looking for generalized solarpunk or any kind of synopsis of the novella itself. We're looking for locations and characters directly related to A Psalm for the Wild-Built. We want to know more about the complex cosmology of Panga, or the life in Meadow Den Monastery, or the story of the person who taught Dex to blend tea, or the story of the person responsible for the original programming that allowed Splendid Speckled Mosscap and its ilk to attain sentience.
We're talking literary fanfic. We're talking expanding and refining an already-established world. Something that furthers the joy of the original story.

All submissions must have a clear relationship to A Psalm for the Wild-Built. You may submit up to three poems, and each one should be in a separate file. We pay a flat fee of $10 for accepted poetry.
If your work was accepted for Issue #39: Mistaken Identity or Issue #40: Epiphany, we're sorry, but we cannot accept your work at this time (see our general guidelines.)
We have different teams evaluating poetry, prose, and art. If you submit to the wrong genre, your submission will be declined.
